杢の出た吉野杉の腰板部分に 水辺の風景を描いた透かし彫り

4枚でひと続きの絵になっています

A set of vintage sliding doors made from Japanese reed, Yoshino Sugi Japanese cedar & 2 types of bamboo.

Minimal landscape of the reeds & water bird are depicted by the openwork on the bottom panels.



Used at the private home of an wood wholesaler in Nara pref. , the birthplace of Yoshino Sugi cedars.
